I really get what you mean about Davy. He too was my dream guy 'round about when I was 9, before he was superceded by Bobby Sherman (David Cassidy came along just a year too late for me). Weird sad feeling to see these icons of our girlhood falling away. For the record, the song 'A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You' which was sung by Davy is musical genius (okay, penned by NEil Diamond) and still one of my faves to this day, and Davy gives it all the emotion and yearning of young love that it needs.
Am I getting nostalgic?

While never being a Monkees fan (I dreamed of dates with Paul McCartney), I do admit listening to ET while eating dinner. I don't know who they are talking about half the time, but if I turn the channel to Wheel of Fortune, my food becomes cold.
